SERVANT Orientation 2012

I am so blessed to have the five newest H*VMI missionaries here at H*VMI headquarters to go through our SERVANT Orientation training. There's such a diversity of age, ministry focus and background. The common bond is an obvious love for the Lord and deep desire to utilize the gifts and heart God has placed within them to minister to the hurting and disabled. I wish you could have been here to hear their testimonies and how God has used some very difficult circumstances in their past to bring Him glory. They've absorbed so much over these days and have gotten a view of the overall ministry. The most important thing I believe they are understanding is that they're part of a family here and are cared for as they carry out their roles in H*VMI. They truly are precious people!

Don will be working in the BASIS ministry. He already has his heart set on starting two support groups for bereaved parents in his area.

Michelle, also involved in BASIS, will be encouraging children who are hurting due to the loss of a brother or sister.

Philip will be returning to his Ghana home in West Africa to carry on a vital ministry there in a leadership position.

Ken and Joan are coming in as husband and wife. Ken will be helping to procure much needed items for camp and taking over the golf tournament. Joan is using her skills as our camp cook. In addition, both will be involved in H*VMI's Discipleship Ministries.

All of them will be in H*VMI on a part-time basis as they seek prayer and financial support.  We all are looking forward to the day when they can be involved on a full-time basis. Would you please pray that their support will come in quickly?
