MINISTRY: Tim is the Founder and Ministry Ambassador of H*VMI. Kathy is his happy wife and H*VMI's Lead Ministry Secretary. Yes. Even with both of us being octogenarians, we’re loving ministering full-time with H*VMI.
BACKGROUND: We were married in 1964. Tim is an ordained minister. Kathy is a former schoolteacher. We served with another mission agency for people with disabilities before God called us to establish H*VMI.
FAMILY: We have two INCREDIBLE daughters who, along with their WONDERFUL husbands, have given us four SPECTACULAR grandchildren. (Marriage has boosted the grandchildren number by two!) Daughter, Sandra, and her husband, Daniel Wyllie, live in NV. Danny is second in charge of the TSA at Las Vegas Airport. Sandra is Head of the English Department and teaches at Lake Mead Christian Academy. Sandra is also working with a business partner in “Beyond the Books Tours.com,” literary tours of England and Scotland with a God view. The Wyllies’ firstborn, Savannah, married Ethan Wallace on May 20, 2017. They met at and graduated from Liberty University in 2016. They both work for law offices in Las Vegas. Ethan has graduated from law school and is a full partner at his law firm. Savannah is also attending law school and will graduate in December 2023. Micah, the Wyllie’s middle child, married Lindsey, on December 16, 2018. They, too, met at LU and both completed their Masters’ degrees there in May 2019. They relocated to Nevada. Micah works for MGM Entertainment in digital security. Lindsey is the head of HR for a law firm in Las Vegas. The Wyllie’s youngest child, Ben, will graduate from Liberty University, May 2023! Daughter, Lori, is married to Mark Herson, They live in PA. Mark works for QVC Security locally but is involved in their security program worldwide. Lori home-schools their daughter, Elle, now going into 12th grade, and is also Director of Children’s Ministries at the Herson’s church. Elle is planning to pursue a major in Theater at a Christian college. She was just seven years old when she was first on a public stage. Among other accomplishments, she has performed with the American Music Theater, Piercing Word, Servant Stage and CAVOD Performing Arts Theater in Lancaster PA and SALT Performing Arts Theater in West Chester, PA in addition to other theater groups.
HOBBIES: Tim loves sports. Kathy loves to read, especially Christian historical novels.
LIFE VERSE: The verse we adopted at our marriage is Psalm 34:3, "O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His Name together."
