MINISTRY: Director of Grief Ministry (BASIS).

BACKGROUND: Most of my life I worked as a maintenance mechanic, retiring recently from my job at a nursing home. I love sports, was a PIAA football and basketball referee. I play softball. I went to markets and raised fruits and vegetables - blueberries, raspberries, peaches and apples are a big part of our lives! I learned about H*VMI and BASIS because of the death of our youngest son, Andy. God changed our lives forever. I started an H*VMI BASIS Support Group for other parents who have lost a child and then felt God calling me to work in the ministry full-time.

FAMILY: The best part of me is my wife, Phyllis, who is a nurse (presently a Case Manager). My older son, Matt, is married to Courtney, and they have given us one grand-daughter, Hayes. Andy, our younger son, died in 2016 and is in heaven.

HOBBIES: I enjoy sports, woodworking, carving and scroll sawing. I like to play horseshoes and corn hole - competitive!
