We Moved: Thankful for God's Faithfulness
/I'm writing this e-mail from my office in our new H*VMI headquarters. The unpacking continues and much progress has been made ... but we're in!! There's so much for which to praise the Lord through the move process. Here are some things He, by His grace, did over those days and in some cases before. Rejoice with me. The new office is only 3 miles from the former BCM building.
We were able to sign a 3 year contract with the new landlord (who, by the way, is a Believer).
The monthly rent is lower than we were paying before.
Most of the offices are enclosed.
Skids, boxes and shrink wrap were provided at no cost.
On the day of the move, we had fantastic weather, not too hot or cold.
There were 45 strong, willing people who helped us move.
We had a box truck, pick up trucks and two trailers to transport the various items from one place to the next.
No one was injured during the course of the day with the exception of a few bumps, scrapes, bruises.
One church from 40 minutes away provided a delicious lunch for the hungry movers.
The fellowship was fantastic. There was much laughter and encouragement.
A man with expertise in dismantling partitions saved hours of time.
God gave great wisdom to Brian Robinson who headed up the project as to what fit where.
Steve Williams, our I.T. man gave us a week of his vacation to set up computers and phone system.
Everyone seems to be happy with their office space and visitors have been blessed by the look.
The various H*VMI programs went on during the move week without having to cancel a single one.
I'm sure there were many other things that are not listed above. One thing is certain;
"THE LORD'S MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING. GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS."
We are on the first floor of this building in Epharata, PA off of Rt 322.
