Soar, Run, Walk

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31

Caring for others can really zap our strength! When we don't see progress we might also lose hope for the person we are trying to help.

Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that we need to place our hope in the Lord because He is the only One who can give us the strength to go on when we feel overwhelmed by a person or situation.

God renews or causes our strength to sprout three ways:

  1. They will soar on wings like eagles means we will ascend to gain a better perspective of the situation.
  2. They will run and not grow weary means our energy will increase as we pace ourselves because we are placing our hope in the the right power source.
  3. They will walk and not be faint means that He will not only give you the grace to carry the load but also the strength to go the distance to fulfill His purpose in your life.
