Our Vision --Where We Believe God Is Leading Us:

ministries to people with physical and mental disabilities, grieving, mental health issues, elderly, shut-in, abused, battered, broken hearted
By faith, it is our vision to grow, increase, develop, and expand the ministry of HVMI under the leadership and direction of the Holy Spirit; and to fulfill our our Mission until Jesus comes again.

Action Plan Statement:

To fulfill our Mission and our Vision, we, by faith, set forth the following Goals and Directions for the work:

Immediate Goals: Present to 2012

  • To secure a Director of Recruitment
  • To add 1-2 additional full-time persons to the Development Department in order to expand the prayer and financial support (including grants, bequests, planned giving as well as individual and church donors) for the ministry
  • To develop and implement a college intern program for all phases of the ministry
  • To add 5- 10 new missionaries each year across the various departments of the ministry
  • To increase the Administrative and Office Staff to meet the growing needs of the support work of the mission
  • To train and support 5 new local church congregations each year to begin a new ministry to meet the needs of our target population
  • To continue to develop and expand our website to facilitate the growth and mission of H*VMI
Note: If you are interested in helping us reach these goals, please contact us, specifying how, and someone will be in touch with you.

Long-Term Goals: 2012 - 2017

  • To investigate and complete the purchase of property and facilities that would enable us to:
    • Establish our own Mission Headquarters
    • Expand our offerings for meetings, conferences, workshops, and seminars
    • Establish our own camping and retreat facility for all aspects of the ministry
  • To form a committee of Board, Staff, Missionaries, Parents, and those we minister to, to investigate the need, possibility, desirability, problems related to establishing a full-time residential facility and or respite ministry to meet the needs of the total population we seek to reach
