   Understanding "Interwoven Health"
--The first steps in beginning a ministry to people addressing
        "mental health" issues

As the church, we represent God to our community - His love, His grace and His truth. Jesus clearly demonstrated love for all, including the people that were set aside by the culture of the day. It's important for the church to strive to help all people in the congregation to renew their minds in God's Word and to love the way that Jesus commanded us to love. H*VMI'S Minds Renewed Ministry can help the church accomplish the following goals: 1) Understand "Interwoven Health" (the health of every aspect of the person that was knitted together by God) and "Interwoven Health" practices; 2) Unravel the stigma of "mental illness;" 3) Establish a support group to encourage people addressing "mental health" issues; and 4) become "A Beloved Interwoven Congregation." (Members of "A Beloved Interwoven Congregation" work on understanding "Interwoven Health" and practice loving God with all their hearts, souls, minds and strength. They also love their neighbors as equals regardless of their differences, with the realization that God's interwoven label for each person is "beloved.") These terms will be briefly explained at the seminar with the emphasis on understanding "Interwoven Health" and on outlining the steps to starting a ministry to help people addressing "mental health" issues.
