2010 Riversharks Baseball Fundraiser Report:
 

We could not have asked for a more perfect night for a baseball game. The weather was beautiful, the fireworks were outstanding, the Riversharks won for the first time since we have run this event, and the children from our group enjoyed running the bases.

Although attendance was off from last year, 212 people attended who purchased tickets as well as thirteen adults and children who received tickets from H*VMI. These tickets were donations from people who could not attend, but wished to send people from our ministry who could not afford the tickets. With extra donations H*VMI will realize an income of $252.46.
 
We believe the economy, as well as the parking problems last year were reasons for the reduction in attendance. In addition, some churches did not promote the game as well as they did last year due to changes in congregation contacts. All that being said we do plan to continue this event.
 
A big thank you goes to Bill Robinson from the Brooklawn UMC who took the lead in selling, delivering tickets and promoting this fundraiser for H*VMI.
 

2010 Barnstormers Baseball Fundraiser Report:
 

We would like to thank God for the help of Judy Blore in handling the ticket sales of this event. As Judy indicated, there seems to have been many new people in attendance at the Barnstormers which should provide H*VMI new contacts to communicate with.

There were 162 at the game and this fundraiser provided an income of $387.00 after expenses. Like with the Riversharks event there were also donations made in place of them attending the game.
 

Pictures for both games will soon be put on our website to thank those who attended these two events and encourage people to think about joining H*VMI next year at either event.
